Credit and criminal background checks are required for everyone who applies to rent one of our homes.  If you have looked at a home and would like to apply, please complete form below.  This information will be shared with Tenant Check, a third party company in St. Paul.  The application costs $40.00 per adult, paid for by the applicant.

What are we looking to see on the checks?

We don't expect anyone to be perfect.  We do expect you to pay rent and certain utilites as specified in the lease on time.  We also expect you to be a good neighbor.  If you have doubts about something that may disqualify you, the best thing you can do is ask us about it.  A note on bad credit: We often try to work with those having credit issues, such as accounts in collections, previous unlawful detainers (evictions), etc, however we must require an extra month of security deposit to work with these cases (two month's deposit total).

Please note: We will not take your application money unless you are first in line for a home.  However, we often have multiple parties interested in a home. In fairness to others who might also want the home but are not first in line, please plan on signing a lease and paying a deposit to hold the home immediately after being accepted.  An acceptance or denial normally happens within one or two business days.  If there are delays on the applicant's side we reserve the right to move onto another interested group.

One form is required for each occupant 18 years or older.  Information will be transferred via an unsecured transmission. After completing the form we will contact you to obtain your social security number and date of birth, which are required to complete the application. Do not include them anywhere in this electronic application!
